“ I heard about Vision Recording Studios from their ad on craig’s list. I gave them a call and they were extremely professional. Dave took the time to spend over an hour with me discussing my project and I could tell that he wanted to make sure that I was completely comfortable with the recording process, as I don’t have a lot of recording experience. The day of my recording session I was really nervous and I was not sure if I would be able to sing a single note...LOL. When I arrived at the studio, Dave was there to greet me and I can tell he saw I was nervous. He instantly put me at ease and he invited me into the control room just to sit and chat, just to get to know each other. We spent about a half hour just talking about the weather and other stupid topics just so I could feel comfortable. Dave never once made me feel rushed or made me feel like the time was ticking and we were on the clock. He even gave me a tour of the studio and we then spent a few minutes hanging in the “lounge” area, which I thought was really cool. “
“When it was time to record, Dave explained everything to me and totally took away any nervousness I may have had. During the recording of my two songs he was extremely patient and he worked with me doing several takes to ensure we got a great vocal performance. My only other recording experience in another recording studio was much different. It was one take and whatever came out that what was on the final recording. I was pleasantly surprised that this is not the way Dave and Vision Recording Studios operates. After I finished recording, Dave spent a good amount of time adding different effects and “tweaks” to make my vocals sound amazing! I could not believe it was me singing....LOL. “
“When the session was over we had spent almost 2 extra hours in total and Dave didn’t even suggest charging me extra for the extra time. He didn’t even drop a hint that we went over the original time.....a TRUE PROFESSIONAL!!”

“ We had Vision Recording Studios come out and record one of our live shows. We tried this in the past with another studio and the results were horrible! It was a totally waste of money. So we were a little hesitant about doing this for a 2nd time. When Dave arrived at the gig I could tell right away he knew what he was doing. First off he got there 2 hours before we were scheduled to go on stage. when i told him that we were not going on for 2 hours and that I didn’t realize that he was coming so early, he said that he realized that but he wanted plenty of time to make sure the sound was checked and perfect before the show. I was like “ok this guy has is act together”.
3 days after the show he sent us a sample of the recording. I was blown away by the sound quality. I could not believe it. He not only sent me mp3 files of the show but he also mailed me 5 copies of the show on CD so each member of the band could have their own and no extra charge! VERY NICE!!
my only regret was not having him record all 3 sets. Next time we will for sure. For any band out there wanting a live recording, call Dave, you won’t be disappointed!

Crossing Rubicons time with Vision Studios has been an exceptional experience. We had a short period of time in which to get our demo complete, and Dave Vignola busted his ass to do so. Upon hearing
Bitter Sweet Demo; everyone is surprised of the quality of recording; we don't need to even tell them we gave Dave only a day to complete the mix. Musicians in other bands cannot believe it is not mastered.
There is not another studio out there in CT that can come close to what Vision Recording Studios had done for us. There are many studios in CT who take a Wallmart approach to recording, any band that has the cash can throw out a "shit shingle" and call it a day. I applaud Dave's approach to auditioning bands that he records.
Dave Vignola stands behind his work, which is a path that no other studio in CT would. "Trod",and the quality of our demo is the proof of that. Crossing Rubicon looks forward to a long recording future with Vision Studios.

“What an experience!!! Vision Studios is definitely the place to go for any local artists. First, Dave is an outstanding and professional owner/producer/engineer/etc. When we first met up with him, he was willing to drive up to Hamden from Naugutuck just to discuss our project for 30 minutes. In the studio he is extremely professional, but at the same time keeps the atmosphere light and really pressure free. He offers great advice as to how to get along in the industry as he is been a musician himself. Second the studio is immaculate and completely comfortable.
