Recording Production Training Classes - $900 for an 8 week course
If you are a Connecticut musician and are looking to learn how to get started in home recording or if your goal is to become an audio engineer / producer or maybe you would like to own your own Connecticut recording studio and take in clients, then our new recording internship may be for you. We now offer a chance for people to come into our studio and work hands on and learn everything there is to learn about recording and working in a recording studio. You will be “hands on” working with real instruments and real equipment. We will take you through every facet of the recording process including mixing and mastering. Here are some of the topics we cover in the course.
- Basic recording overview, practices and equipment
- Setting proper gain structures to achieve a great recording
- How to mic up all the different instruments to achieve an industry std sound recording
- Mixing techniques with in the DAW realm. Includes the use of plugins and 3rd party software.
-Equipment selection, how to properly set up and use to achieve a great recording.
- Room treatment and sound control
- And much, much more.
You don’t have to have a million dollar studio to achieve a great commercial sounding recording. This course is specifically designed to give you the tools and knowledge to to do this right in your home at a fraction of the cost! Pricing - The basic introduction course is 8 sessions, 1 per week, each between 1-2 hours. It is a night time session so we can work around your “day job”. This is also a 1 on 1 course so you have the full attention of our producer / engineer. This is not a “class room” type experience. It’s a “work in the studio” type of experience and you are the only student in the studio so you get the most out of it!! The cost for this training is $900.00.
We can assure you that no Connecticut recording studios offers such a training course regardless of the cost. We have personally researched all of Connecticut for such a service and only was able to find one other music studio that had such a service and their starting price for their “basic course” was over $4,000! I personally know someone who had attended this studio’s so called “training” and they never laid their hands on a piece of equipment, worked on a real recording session or even saw another musician in the studio. It was all a bunch of “talking about concepts” instruction. Much like a class room but in a control room.
I can assure you that our training experience is NOT like that. You will physically work with the equipment and instruments and be totally hands on. You will even have an opportunity to sit in on a recording session to see things “in action” after you have gone through some training. We are not here to waste your time or ours. We only want serious students who are eager to learn and take this seriously and we know you will find this training very helpful.

Recording Packages
Payment & Deposits
We accept payment in form of CASH & CREDIT CARDS. Any credit card payment must be made by paypal which is the #1 trusted source of credit card payment on the internet. If you do not have a paypal account, click on the paypal logo below to go to their website. It completely FREE to open an paypal account.
Deposit - We required a 50% deposit of the total cost of your recording session at the time of booking. If for some reason you need to re-schedule or cancel your session, you must do so at least 48 hours prior to your scheduled date. If you do not give us 48 hours notice you will loose your deposit. The remaining balance is due the day of your session.

When reading through our different packages below keep in mind that the prices charged are for the time of our producers and/or engineers. We do not rent out the studio itself. That comes FREE with your session.
Also keep in mind that all of the pricing listed below is generalized. We will customize a package for you once we discuss what your needs are and what you are looking for. Music is a creative process and we don’t want our clients to “watch the clock” and feel rushed in the studio. We also recognize that you have a budget so we will do everything we can to work with in that as well.
We NEVER, EVER book clients “back to back” so if an extra 30 min for example, is needed to finish your project, we are not going to stop your session because someone else is coming in right behind you. We will give your project the attention it deserves to make sure you are happy with the final result and we will not charge you for it. Having said that, we do not want our staff to be taken advantage of either, so it’s just a little common sense on everyone’s part.
Our goal is to ensure that you are 200% satisfied with both your final product and overall experience at our music studio. Customer service is our first priority and our staff will bend over backwards and go out of their way to make sure you are happy.....we take this very, very seriously.
Mixing & Production Services - $40.00 per hr.
If you have already recorded your music in your own home / project studio and just want us to properly mix the tracks in order to achieve a great sounding recording, then you would fall into our “mixing services” bucket.
Or maybe you don’t live in Connecticut and want us work with you on your project. Well, with the technology today we can do everything online and you end up with a final product e-mailed to you and a hard copy will be shipped by “snail mail”. Our basic fee is $40.00 per hour to mix your project.
As stated above, the pricing all depends on your specific project. There are many variables such as the amount of tracks in the song, how much of a “industry standard sounding recording” do you want and there are many other factors. But again, the approximate amount of time it takes to mix a track is about 1-3 hours. So you’re looking at $40 - $120 per song.
If you are hiring us to mix an entire CD’s worth of material, then of course we will discount that pricing for you. Again, call us and we will customize a package for you.
Basic Demo Recordings - $400
If you are planning to record a 3 song demo recording for your band, plan on spending at least 2 hours per song, which includes mixing time. This assumes that your band is “ready” to record these songs and can do it it 1-2 takes. The band would usually all play together at the same time and the only thing we would go back and overdub is the lead & background vocals. This is the most cost effective way to record and if the band is tight, you will get a outstanding recording that you can then use to promote your band to venues to get gigs!
Music Placement & Licensing - Call for info
Have you ever considered having your original music placed in a TV commercial or in a motion picture? This is an extremely big business and EVERY musician can par take in this. The secrete is knowing the process and having the relationships with different music supervisors that will use your music. Full Production Recordings - Custom Pricing
If you are looking for a “industry standard” type of recording, this can vary in price depending on your project. There are so many variables and every project is unique that it is hard to give a general prices with out knowing the details about what you have in mind. Usually, when we are speaking about achieving a recording that you plan on selling to the public, the time and care it takes to provide you with that type of recording is greater than the demo package. The recording time is usually twice as long than a demo as well.
As a “bench mark” price, just double the price of the demo package. So, having 3 songs recorded that has that “industry standard” sound would take about 4 hrs per song which includes mixing. The approximate coast would be $800
