Our next sample is a full rock band with drums, two guitars, bass and keys. No vocal track on this one as the singer was not feeling well the day we cut this track. however, it will give you a feel for the quality you can expect when using our studio.
In this sample, we wanted to give you a sample that focuses on the drum kit. The drum kit in this sample was a mid priced Pearl 5 piece set. Nothing special by any means but you can hear that we can still achieve a really nice professional drum sound even with a modest priced kit. The real key to achieving this quality sound is newer drum heads and a properly tuned kit. By the way, we only used 3 mics on the kit to capture this sound. Of course the drummer himself matters most.

This sample is a folk style music with one acoustic guitar, lead vocal and fiddle. There were a couple of over dubs of acoustic guitar but that was pretty much it. Notice the lead vocal is spread out fairly wide in the stereo field and we added some chorus to give the track a thicker and spooky sound to compliment the track
These two Live Recording samples is of Randy jackson from the famous 80’s band Zebra. He played Connecticut in March and he was kind enough to allow us to record his set. This was a 3 mic set up. We had 2 room mic’s to capture the room ambiance and had a direct feed off the mixing board. After a couple of hours of post production, this was the results.
